IIM Lucknow is offering a Talent Analytics course online. The course, which is six months long, focuses on human capital planning, human resource optimization, recruitment, staffing, compensation optimization and talent sourcing.

In the course, students will be trained in new techniques of Human Resources used worldwide. Companies will be able to manage human resources and retain talent in accordance with business strategies, using artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and analytics programming.

IIM Lucknow has worked on this programme in collaboration with WileyNXT. After the course is completed, a certificate will be provided by IIM Lucknow and WileyNXT.

The curriculum has been researched and developed by IIM Lucknow faculty members and programme directors Girish Balasubramanian and Sanjeet Singh. The course will also provide experiential learning on such platforms, besides the compulsory business management topics. Consequently, candidates will have exposure to a number of algorithms and analytics techniques.

The course will teach how intelligent software platforms can be used to carry out Human Resource duties such as workforce planning, employee retention, compensation optimization, talent sourcing, and so on in a novel way using AI and analytics.

In addition, industry experts who are currently using these platforms will also be involved in the course. The chairperson of Executive Education (MDP), IIT Lucknow, Professor D Tripati Rao, said that this is a brilliant phase where the Human Resource Management group of a company is intent on advocating digital transformation.

In fact, leading companies are making a decision to incorporate such platforms with a view to identifying talents and nurturing them within the organization.
