Remarks :
Addmission process is through josaa by the rank of exam JEE advance and my cutoff in my branch is approximately 2900 for boys and 4k for girls . Exam are of 2 hour in the mid sem while 3 hours in end sem. You can find all details at the iit ropar page on google

Placement Experience :
Placement of this year was quite good having 22.3 Lakhs per annum and for CSE it was probably 30lpa and internship opportunities are also very good as selected candidates will have 100% chance of getting internship in the 7th semester either for 2 month or 6 month.

Campus Life very chill and good as there are AC in every block and mess and club here are very active in every aspect of field like sports, technology, and literature.Here many students goes for the interview iit tour having also gaining good rank overall.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are also quite good as cleaning happens every day and room service also is quite amazing with great care but major flaw is some students damaging property of hostel for fun but also they are getting strict punishment for that also.
Faculty :
All professors are holding phd degrees and their TAs are doing PhD under that professor and HOD of CSE is best and have 15 years of teaching experience and teacher are best at doubt solving also giving their respective office room for one to one interaction.

capmus placements starts from 4th of year degree, and internships from 2nd year. 1500+ compaies are tied up chitkara university like samsung airbus BPL. high package has gone upto 1.11Cr and avg package is around 8.5 lakh almost 100% placements are offered at the college as assured i'll join Indian Armed Forces thru CDS, if not the go for the MNCs like Samsung by chosing VLSI to design and develop semi conductors chips.

Placementa are very good from 6th sem you are eligible for placements . Companies like TCS, infosys, AutoCAD, Microsoft, the math company, TATA ,Dell and many more companies visit the campus for placement approx 70 percent students got placed.

Placement Experience :
Placements are offered in the 8th semester, i.e 4th year. The placement record if IIT Ropar is really good with always-increasing graph each year. The placements of core branches like Civil are not as good as CSE but they are satisfactory.
