You need to pass a 12th/equivalent degree to qualify for admission to NMIT. There is snq quota seat for economically backward people which will reduce your fee drastically. The study holiday given to us between each exam is very less though.
They educate us with both theory and practical knowledge needed for the course. they prepare us for interviews as well. each classroom has a projector. since it is an autonomous college, test papers are created by the faculties which are then evaluated by externals.
There are numerous companies providing internships in the college. many students received internship offers from foreign-based companies as well. Youll get good exposure to the industry all the while by working as an intern.
After 6th sem you can start interviewing for jobs. Placement rate at nmit is 94%. And internships from mncs are provided too. Alot of other activities and certificates provided by the college adds on to the students resume.
You could either join through competitive exams like KCET or COMEDK and receive a recession in your fee according to the rank secured by you or take admission through management quota. Through kcet its only 1L/year for all the courses which again depends on your rank.
There are MANY clubs. You can pursue other interests of yours in college be it sports, singing, literature, dancing and many more. After joining the college you can also be part of NCC and NSS to serve your country and surroundings. The campus is very green and provides shelter to many animals.
They are helpful and look forward to help us with our queries. be it related to academics or personal issues. They are highly qualified in their streams and posses vast knowledge about their subject. we are also provided with mentors. teachers keep a check on our academics as well.

The campus placements are great in college, especially for my course. They offer placements in core and technical companies, such as oracle , Microsoft , Goldman sacks ,etc. they offer great packages and great opportunities aswell
In the seventh semister if a student has no backlogs he is eligible for placement drive and we soo have classes from our 3rd sem for pat and all companies like Accenture visit evey year and my plan is to get a job in college placement
You should maintain around 8 cogs and above so that you can have a guaranteed placement and students are eligible after 3rd year to get placements and placement rates are pretty good with the avg being 7lpa
From 7th sem students become eligible for placement around 250 companies visit our college and this around 1300 offers has been made around 70% student get placed if any student is not placed than he can apply for off campus since our college is in Bengaluru so there are lots of options for freshers
I can't say exactly but there is a place for improvement, some classes are using up-to-date software and education is the latest tech, but some fields need improvement and update, overall it is good according to me. The course curriculum is good, and teachers complete the syllabus on time.
