- First thing I liked about is its big campus
- Second thing is the student life, be it juniors or seniors everyone is friendly
- Third thing I liked is its faculty. There are remarkable and motivates us to become the best of ourselves
Dislikes
- The college timing is not at all good, we've classes from 8 am which makes it difficulty to reach college especially in bad weather conditions and also during winter
- Some of the seminars being conducted here are too boring and doesn't add to the benefit of student much
- There is no AC in classrooms , as we have our classes on 9th floor it becomes difficult to attend classes during summer

And as I mentioned earlier, all type of students, be it Science, Commerce or Humanities students can pursue BCA if they are inclined towards the technology sector. Application Form: The application process starts when the applicants complete the online application form that is provided on the university’s website. They will require essential information such as: Identification information, education background, and entrance tests (where necessary). Selection Process: According to the scores obtained in the entrance tests conducted along with written test or academic performance, candidates are selected for the next levels like interview or group discussion as per the course applied for. Document Verification and Admission: Upon shortlisting of candidates, they undergo document verification and pay the necessary fees to complete their registration. Thus, the admission process at SNU can be seen as systematic but requires more transparency in terms of admission exam scheduling and cutof.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Here my reasons for why I chosed Bachelor of Computer Application: (i) because i was a commerce student back in school, yet showed somni interest towards the technology field and wanted to explore more about it.(ii) also BCA is considered one as quite flexible course which unables or gives oppurtunities students from any background can gain such qualities without doubt. The course that I have choosed is good one which will make me to industry ready and get place in some of the top MNCs by appearing for interviews. Another point that I think could use some work on this course is its core, when it comes to programming languages you should give deeper into advanced parts of the language but here everything seems very basic.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are available itself from Second year itself. The university partners with a variety of companies, including both established corporations and startups, offering students valuable hands-on experience.
Placement Experience :
In SNU , students persuing BCA can expect internship opportunities from second year itself however it's on the final year the students can be deemed elegible for campus placements. Some of the top recruiters like Cognizant, Deloitte, TCS and Infosys do visit for campus placements. At Sister Nivedita University, the placement opportunities for BCA students vary significantly. The highest package offered has reached INR 14 LPA (Lakhs per Annum) in recent years, while the average package tends to be around INR 4 LPA . My personal plan is to look for a job after completing my graduation to seek industry exposure and getting adjusted to it though I have long term plans to pursue higher studies as well
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for various programs at SNU vary depending on the course and level of study, as in case of BCA, its around 5 lakhs for total period of 4 years. Scholarships and Financial Assistance:Merit Scholarships: Awarded based on academic performance. For undergraduate students, the scholarships range from 50% to 100% of tuition fees, depending on marks scored in the 10th and 12th standards. Postgraduate students can receive scholarships ranging from 25% to 100%, based on their bachelor's degree marks. Talent Scholarships: Offered to students excelling in sports, dance, singing, drama, painting, and other arts. The scholarship can cover 25% to 100% of tuition fees, depending on the level of achievement (international, national, state, or district level) and many more. Campus Employment Opportunities: While SNU does not provide education loans, students are encouraged to apply for various scholarships. There is no specific mention of campus employment opportunities, but students can seek.
Campus Life :
Campus life at Sister Nivedita University (SNU) offers a vibrant and comprehensive experience, designed to support both academic and personal growth. SNU do provide necessary facilities like including hostels, libraries, sports complexes, canteens, and state-of-the-art laboratories. The library is vast and have diverse book collection for students belonging to all departments. SNU don't have a proper sports club but there are various sporting events which keeps students engaged
Faculty :
The faculty at Sister Nivedita University (SNU) are the best minds among all and thus they even play a very important role in creating an educational environment. Faculty members at the university typically have 10-15 years of experience in their given fields and integrate academic learning with real-world application. By using both, students are taught to be good scholars and well-rounded individuals ready for many career paths. Faculty, Most experienced in both theory & practical teaching processes to students and assist them through tough academic subjects also placed the student for internships & jobs. SNU's faculty also features industry professionals, providing students with a unique perspective that connects course material to the real world.

Placements provided here is goood i have'nt thought on that level but yeah it is good if you prepare yourself for the companies. It is not fully dependable on college you even should have prepare on max level.

Upon completing their fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements, which are facilitated at the Career Development Center within the campus premises. The placement rates have consistently been high, reaching 98% in 2020, 88% in 2022, and 95% in 2023. Key recruiters include TCS, IBM, Google, Infosys, Adobe, and Amazon. The median salary packages for undergraduate (UG) four-year degrees stood at 6.5lakhs in 2020, 7 lakhs in 2021, and 6 lakhs in 2022. While many students opt for placements, some may also choose to pursue higher studies such as MTech or MBA.

The placements have increased day by day in every engineering departments. As I have told the average salary in placements discussed go about 9-10 lacs and if necessary some students go for higher studies in other prestigioues colleges and universities in india and abroad..

The course I've opted for mainly deals with accounts and commerce but this college gave me the opportunity to explore much more . This course becomes much more interesting with the addition of such value added subjects certain internal exams which includes presentations,mock interviews etc.

At least 20-40 companies visited and almost every child gets placement, work is available but it is available and the maximum package is 32 lakh and average package is 8 lakh and I also have to prepare well
