To take admission in engineering you compulsory have math in 12 standard. Then to take admission in this college you have to take comedk exam and for karnatka student you have to give kcet. The fees of application form is approx 1200 for comedk.you will find it on comedk website. In Karnataka 85 percent seat are reserved for Karnatka student. comedk is 3 hours long exam whose difficulty level is easy to medium. There is 180 questions for 180 marks. After exam results come out then you have to sit in the counseling process and according to you rank you get the college and the respective branch.
I always have had an interest in engineering that why I pursued in engineering. College comes under the vtu so it's good not the best but good. The curriculum is as it includes skill development. The point of improvement is curriculum is not updated and teaching methods should be more practical base than theory-based. The frequency of exams as we have two internal exams and external exam and also a lab internal.Internal takes place gap of 1 and half months and external after 4 to 5 months . Companies that come for intership are like tcs Accenture and many startup companies and stipends depend from company to company from 5000 to 20000 is the range. you can look for off-campus for more exciting offers.
After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement.There are many companies which visit in this college like oracle, adobe,tcs, Accenture, Samsung, Mercedes, etc The highest package is about 59 lakh which is offered by Microsoft. The tution fee for BE is approx 2 lakh 33 thousand plus 30000 thousand university fees . During external examinations, you have to pay 1680 examination fees every semester. The annual event is Manthan which takes place during November. It is a two-day annual event in which cultural and technical events happen. Apart from Manthan other events like hackathons, cultural events, and sports events take place. classroom is good with good benches with projector. Computer Labs are very good. They offer sports activities but don't have a ground so you have to join a sports club and they will decide where you will play. Students run many clubs but the major clubs which is most active are gdsc, rotrack, Ieee, and os code.
The faculty to student ratio is about 1:4.some teacher are good some are worst.The teacher are decent don't expect they know everything but some teachers are genuinely very good they know very much and also very helpfull. Placements wise it's decent. The placement is active. College does provide you with exposure and opportunities. For opportunities it also depends on the department how supportive your department is. In curriculum very good infrastructure and they arranged lots of fests and sports in college. in every month almost at least one of the fest or sports is arrenged. In SARAGAM FEST they allow only college students.
