- Our college is well known for its big campus whith greenary all around the college. There is also a big ground to play
- Our classrooms are huge so that many students can attain the lecture with good sitting arrangements and also there are many rooms with air conditioner
- Teching staffs are also great. They are experienced teachers with all of them polite and humble
Dislikes
- Canteen foods are the worst i would recommend you to bring your own tiffin to the college and the prices are low but the quality of foods are cheap
- Library books can not be borrowed for 1 week we have to return it to the library within 5 6 days
- Washroom are smelly and dirty specially boys washroom it needs to be clean everyday but the students are careless and shameless
Remarks :
I choose computer science because I was interested in computers programming and coding from the beginning of my schooling I choose this course because I wanted to increase my knowledge about programming and coding we can apply for admission in our Siliguri college through online mode it would take almost 2 to 3 weeks for the admission after the merit list is announced every year there is exams semester wise there a total of 6 semester and within the each semester the difficulty level increases as the year pass by sometimes the admissions portal servers are down and the boards gives us new dates
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college every year throws a freshers party to welcome all the new students . Its a environment of joy and cheerfull. The college union invited famous singers and musicians every year to perform in this ospicios program . Teaching methods are good but i suggest of putting smart screens in every classes beacuse the students sitting in back benches cannot really see the board. Every year there is one semester exam held in our college and the fees of every exam is almost 1k . The difficulty increases every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For my course i paid 18000 rs for total six semester. As obc it cost me 18k but for st sc students it is much lesser than 18k. My admission and registration almost cost me 20000 rs. And also we have pay for the semester exams every year upto 1k. Our college provides us many scholarship like bibekananda scholorship and kanyashree scholarship for only girls students
Campus Life :
At the end of every year our college organises annual sports day for every students and their are many games played in that such as football cricket volleyball badminton and each and every game Siliguri colleges library is a huge library where we can find every book related to our course and subjects there are also many social groups in our colleges which takes parts in making the environment clean
Faculty :
Our teachers are very experienced and are very polite manner they are modernised and have their unique of teaching students with no scolding or physically assaulting students. Teachers solve every doubts of ours within the class time and we can also get a private lessons from them in thier private tutions

I take BSC in botany Honours because it has tbe best department and Good environment for study.Teachers are very helpfull and give u best suggestions. Teaching method of teachers are old they should make the subject interesting.

In the real world they dont do any thing, they just focus on their studies but according to me they should focus on the students growth too , few skills which are very required rather than making projects. The course is nice but study methods are not implemented.
