- Nature,wildlife, infrastructure are the best things in IIT
- Sports facilities , IITB provides almost every sports played in india
- Study area , there is almost study room in every hostel with ainbuilt AC facilities etc
Dislikes
- Courses curriculum may be a bit tougher for some students to cop-up
- Other students here might judge you based on your rank
- Their is very hard to talk with professors.
Remarks :
IiFor my department which is mechanical , for general cutoff ranking starts form 476 AIR ends at 1700. Then from 2nd year you will be getting desirable courses based on your CPI . I already discussed about the benefits of reservation which is you get decent branches at lower ranks if u have reservation. It is all over the internet when admission starts . Well there is lot of exams and quizes happens along the whole sem. Everything is perfect in the registration process almost.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses curriculum is a bit tougher for some students as it limits the timing required to give to extra-curricular activities . But courses here very informative and interesting. Yes the courses are very relevant with the real life problems. Everything is good but it will be good if we get more time for extra-curriculars.
Internships Opportunities :
Usually students got paid interns in the end of 3rd year but if u are a brilliant student among brilliants then you can get intern in even end of 2nd year . Companies I already mentioned earlier like HP,DELL , Microsoft, Apple. You can do projects under a prof here which are very valuable.
Placement Experience :
We are in the top engineering college of India so ofcourse placements are good here. Placements starts from the end of the 4th year of college . Companies like apple, Microsoft ,croma ,nvidia big companies like this visit every year. Highest package was 4Cr. Last year and avg package was approx 32 LPA. 82.13 percent got placements last year.Will start a startup.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 275000 per year it includes total fees like tution, registration, admission etc.Tution fees is about 2 Lakh . It is approx 12000 per year for hostels and approx 44000 mess fees per year. students form OBC NCL have to pay fees lesser than us based on the family income.
Campus Life :
The campus of my college is best in india. We have best infrastructure, beautiful views, top notch facilities in everything except hostel they are worst . MOODI is the Asia largest cultural fest of Asia Techfest is the Asia's largest science and technology fest. My college provides best sports and Gymkhana facilities in india. Most of the clubs and IB's are run by students.
Faculty :
Well the faculty members are very experienced and are at the top in their field. Their might be no one better than them is their field . Students. To faculty ratio very from 20:1 to 200:1.well every faculty has his/her own unique and interesting way of teaching plus some other interactive activities to engage students. It is a bit hard for students to interact with profs but their are class CRs , we can share our problems with them.

Placement Experience :
After 7 semester students become eligible for the placements Placement wise college is average. Do not expect 6–10 lakh package You can get a 3–4 lakh package, and only 70 out of 130 get that(All mass recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, and L&T, only a few core companies visit YCCE 100% placement is a myth, they place students in BPO to increase placement numbers. But if you have even a little bit of coding knowledge you will get in.

Placements of VJTI MUMBAI are pretty good and more than I expected, even better than COEP PUNE. The courses emphasized practical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, preparing me well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits.However, I believe the curriculum could be improved by placing more emphasis on soft skills, such as communication and teamwork.

It is quite great . Average package for CE students is 12LPA . You can get many internships opportunities from third year as well. Majority of the students get placed in the campus it self. recently this year Phonepe visited the college providing 33LPA.

Placement Experience :
Placements at IIT Bombay are really good because of the reputation of college in Industries and strong connections. Students are elgible to sit in campus placements in their last year i.e, 4th year and should not have any back in any course. Around 400 companies visit IIT Bombay for recruitment process with total of around 1700 placement offers in phase 1. Companies like Quadeye, Apple, McKinsey, Jane street, amazon, microsoft, Google, P&G, TATA, Jaguar, Morgan stanly, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting group, etc. Average package offered is around 23.26 LPA, highest package being INR 3.67 CPA. Placements are offered invarious profiles like IT, core research and engineering, finance, consulting, marketing, product management, etc. Approximately, around 80% of students got placed. My plan after graduation is to get placed in management, business, or finance sector.
