Remarks :

The admission was done by common university entrance test which was conducted by national testing agency. It was an average to medium level of exam. The cut for the curse was quite high for unreserved candidates but there was relaxation for reserved classes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is versatile and promotes everyday knowledge in the field of commerce. It focuses on Practical and analytical approach and concept building among students which makes them corporate ready. The effect of new education policy can be seen on the curriculum in a better way.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My college yearly fees is rs.25000 including the exam fee. But it has increased 25% this year in all the courses of all the colleges in the university. Also there are some scholarship benefits for people who come from ST,SC and OBC background. Also the university provides for single parent fee reduction scheme and many more such scholarships which are mentioned in the university's official website.

Campus Life :

There are many fest conducted throughout the year. Many clubs and societies are available for various departments. NSS is active but placement cell is not so much active. Various inter College fest and competitions are also organised by the college.

Faculty :

The college faculty of each and every department is well experienced in their own field. Regular classes are being conducted on the schedule time, but sometimes it becomes chaotic during any function and confusion arrises whether classes will be conducted or not. Sometimes classes are cancelled on the last moments which often leads to frustration among the students.

Thriving After Hours: A Comprehensive Review of Campus Life at Dyal Singh Evening College

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would rate the course curriculum at Dyal Singh Evening College as **8 out of 10** in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. Relevance: The curriculum is generally aligned with current academic and industry standards, ensuring that students are exposed to both foundational theories and contemporary developments in their fields. The inclusion of skill-enhancement courses and electives allows students to tailor their education to match their career aspirations, making the curriculum quite relevant to real-world applications. Comprehensiveness: The curriculum covers a broad range of topics within each discipline, providing a thorough understanding of core subjects while also allowing for specialization. However, like many institutions, there may be occasional gaps in addressing emerging trends or interdisciplinary approaches, which could enhance the comprehensiveness further. Overall, the curriculum does a solid job of preparing students for further academic pursuits.

Life of a student at JMC

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course curriculum at jmc is well structured and offers a solid foundation core subjects. what made me choose BCom honours is the range of elective is that let me focus on what my interest is in and what is great for personalising my studies. The curriculum enclose real world topics are prepare me for actual situation, which are really helpful, it balances theory and practical well, helping me to get ready for both job and further studies, internships and projects give me hand hands on experience as well, exams are spaced out well, but they can be challenging the test. My understanding thoroughly, so we have to be prepared. More practical assessment might make things even better. They also use modern teaching methods and technology technology that makes classes more engaging. They also add more practical projects or industry connections that make the learning even more relevant.

A good college to pursue the bachelors degree

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placements from their last year. The companies that visited the college for campus placements were wipro, TresVista, Flipkart, Aon, Moglix,PlanetSpark, Propacity etc. According to some of my seniors in the same course the highest package was something around 21 lakhs and the average package is about 3-5 lakhs. The percentage of students that get placed is 30%. My plans after getting the degree is to get into a college for my masters degree.
