- The faculty and the course outline is awesome, its far better than any B-schools in India.
- The events held in the college are held for understanding basis, we as students learn a lot from those events.
- The teachers are friendly and whatever doubts or any query about what to pursue they guide us a lot.
Dislikes
- The college is a 5 floor building with no playground and no sports facilities.
- The college mess food need to be changed its not good the students who come from outside they face a lot of difficulty.
- I personally feel that the sports activities need to be introduced as the only focus cannot be studies only a little enjoyment is needed in life.
Remarks :
The process was smooth. The candidate need to fill Npat forms which are rolled out in december. A candidate need to write Npat exam for securing a seat in NMIMS. The cutoff for NMIMS Mumbai is somewher around 600 rank whereas other nmims campus can take you if you have selected that particular campus that too if you get a good rank. The exam here are very much logic focused. You can pass only if you have understood the concepts clearly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
NMIMS is a top B schools with such industry focused curriculum which no other colleges provide. A healthy communication between teachers and practical real life examples make the course different. I pesonally like their curriculum as I am pursuing BBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So while joining the college as freshers the fee structure is 274000. After that it is 269000 for remainig two years. Currently the college has introduced NEP policy and the duration of the course is now 4 years. The college doesnt provide any merit or scholarship. It is completely based on NPAT the test whicg NMIMS takes every year.
Campus Life :
The library is huge. Each and every materail is available there.The classroom has AC,smart board,etc. The college is well equipped with modern technolgy. There are many events held every year. It has many clubs each focusing on various aspects.
Faculty :
NMIMS hires faculty with strong academic backgrounds often holding advanced degrees such as Phd from reputed colleges.The professors are here engaged in research papers contributing their expereince to students guiding them to shape their career. They emphasize on maintaing a balance between theoretical and practical learning.
