Remarks :
The admission process at SNS College of Technology was quite smooth. I didn't have to deal with entrance exams or interviews; the key requirement was a cutoff score of 140 or above through TNEA counseling. The application form is conveniently available on the college’s website, with a modest fee and clear deadlines. Reservation benefits are available for SC/ST candidates and first-generation graduates, but I did not utilize these. While the lack of entrance exams simplifies things, it might affect the consistency in student preparedness. Improving the process could involve introducing a standardized test to better gauge applicants and providing clearer, earlier information about application dates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum at SNS College of Technology is well-structured and relevant, with a good mix of practical and theoretical content that greatly influenced my decision to enroll. It prepares students effectively for real-world scenarios and further academic pursuits by incorporating hands-on projects and case studies. Additionally, adopting more interactive and experiential learning methods would enhance the overall educational experience. Exams are held every two months, and while they are challenging, they appropriately reflect the coursework and help in assessing our understanding.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for the course is as follows: In the first year, the tuition fee is ?80,000, along with a refundable caution deposit of ?10,000. The registration and admission fees are ?5,000 each, and the development fee is ?15,000. For subsequent years, the tuition fee remains the same at ?80,000, but the development fee reduces to ?10,000 annually. Over the course duration, the total fees sum up to ?3,60,000, excluding the caution deposit. Fees are subject to an annual increase of 5%, as per college management policies. Scholarships are available for eligible students, including a merit-cum-need scholarship, which covers 50% of the tuition fee. However, if you choose rented accommodation or a PG, be aware that the locality can have safety concerns, including occasional disturbances. It’s important to select a good PG or rental place to ensure a comfortable and trouble-free living experience.

In our university the marks is evaluated in the system like 70-30 l 70 marks for internals like quiz, assignmenta, presentation. The faculty will give a task to develop a capstone project,so it improves our standards. Some of the faculty should be expertise in the various areas like in other coding languages. Exams would be mid semester and end semester exams.

some time placements are from 3rd year and it could be at 4th year as i'm still 2nd year at present i have no much idea about it but you'll get internship offers and other offers and based on your resume you'll get job based on you performance and the percentage of placements of students is 95. and no of companies are arounf 115 to 120 companies and the average package is 2.5 lakhs

The placements at my college are pretty good. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onwards. Many top companies visit our campus, offering a variety of roles to students. The highest package offered is usually quite competitive, while the average package is also decent. The percentage of students getting placed is generally high, which is reassuring.As for my plans after completing the course, I aim to explore job opportunities in the industry related to my field of study. I'll be looking to apply the knowledge and skills I've gained during my course to kickstart my career on a positive note.
