1)I heard about this college because it is close to my house and the metro facility from there is also very good.I got confirmed admission in maharaja Manindra Chandra College. 2)No, I have not got selected in any other college because I am a very good hard working student and my behaviour is very good. 3)First the recruitment starts through the college. After that we fill the student form. After that we go offline and submit the documents. After that the interview schedule is given by the college. In that schedule we have to go for the interview and after passing the interview, the merit list is released by the college, in which the students whose name appears are selected for admission in the college.

This curriculum is enriched with literature works by British and American writers which is really enjoyable to read and the Teachers make it more exciting. Teachers are really good at explaining every single point in the syllabus. In the history of literature part they give us notes about each and every write a and there works so that we are familiar with most of the part of our syllabus. They does not teach only for the exams but they make sure that we learn everything with depth. We have a semester exams in every 6 month but sometimes it becomes 7 or 5. But the teachers are really supportive so that we don't panic in our exams.

I chose this course because I love this subject throughout school specifically in class 12th so I decided to study this further and I do have some career thoughts thats why I chose this, it totally depends on the students what they want to study in which field they want to go, if I have to say about faculties and their teaching technique those were very good but the exam pattern is little bit difficult for the freshly entered student because Calcutta university pattern recently changes from CBCS to CCF, this create a little but problem because we face the problem when the exams are conducted and all.
