- I like the overall experience of college like teachers behaviour, college flexibility for some special case students.
Dislikes
- Most of the teachers speaks Gujarati language which is good for the local students but not favourable for the students who doesn't speak Gujarati or they are from diffrent states.
- The campus size of college is not too large as there is no ground available for the college and not much options available for sports.
Remarks :
As as I am talking about birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya,it is not the best but it is one of the best college to peruse your engineering. If wee see parul university there are around 2k or 3k student only in computer engineering but on the other hand our college have only around 80 student in the same course. As the fees in birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya is very very less as compared to the other college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As a student of computer engineering student, my college is one of the best to have a great placemen, in today's world there is a lot of requirement for the computer engineering so that I choose this cource my college provide the up to date syllabus of the course to compete with the latest technology.
Internships Opportunities :
It is compulsory for the student to attend the internship. But unfortunately college does not provide much internship to the students so students have to find the internship offcampus or have to play for the internships.
Placement Experience :
So birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya provides decent placements in all of the engineering branches.the placements percentage in computer engineering department is about 90% there are several company like TCS, AMAZON, ADANI, and MG HECTOR that visits our campus. So students become eligible for the campus placement after the 6th semester or the 3rd year of the college. The college traning and placements provides several cources to help more and more students to get placed in the company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya is a grant in aid college by the government of gujarat.it is the oldest engineering college of Gujarat. The annual fees of the college is around 3500 for students selected in government seats. If you opt for the self financed seat, the annual fees would be around 130000. There is no concession for any category like ST/SC/OBC There are some scholarships available for the students belong to reserved category.
Campus Life :
Birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya provides a fest named UDAAN once in the year in the month of April which is of 3 days in which several activities are involved. There are several dance performances made and the concert nights and disco night is also very good. There are several clubs in Birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya like the BYTE club. GOOGLE club and several club for several departments.
Hostel Facilities :
So birla Vishvakarma Mahaviyalaya has hostel name A.M NAIK HOSTEL HOUSE OF SCOLARS which is newely construction and is inside the campus of the college. It provides very good facilities to the student like room is cleaned daily and the size of storage and bed is very large and the common washrooms are also in very good conditions.the food of the hostel is very bad I prefer it eat from the outside restaurant available in the city.
Faculty :
First of all the faculity to students ratio of college is 1:80 which is not too bad.the overall faculity behaviour is not bad they help the students to understand the problems and syllabus. There are two midsems exams and the end semester exams which make a semester too busy.but overall it is good.

At Nirma University, students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th sem. The placement cell is active, with top companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, and Oracle visiting the campus, The highest package offered last year wa around 52 LPA, While the average paakage is about 7-8 LPA, depending on the branch and role. Roles offered range from software development to consulting. Approximately 85-90% of students secure development to consulting. After completing my degree, I plan to either join a reputed tech firm or pursure higher studies to futher specialize in my field.
