The very first reason i choose this collage is college fee. In this collage annual fee is just ?38000 which is less than other engineering collage. Secondly the infrastructure of this collage impressed me.
The course curriculum stood out due to its strong emphasis on [specific aspect, e.g., hands-on projects, industry-relevant skills, interdisciplinary approach]. For example, the inclusion of [specific courses or modules, e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity] was a major factor in my decision. These subjects are not only cutting-edge but also highly sought after in the job market. The program's structure, which blends theoretical knowledge with practical application. The curriculum does an excellent job of preparing students for real-world applications. The inclusion of [internships, capstone projects, lab work, case studies] ensures that students graduate with practical experience and a portfolio that showcases their skills. Additionally, the program offers opportunities to work on industry-sponsored projects, which provide insights into the challenges faced by professionals in the field.
There are very fee placements i our college. As administration is trying hard to catch more mnc for placement i this collage, very fee student get placed on campus. We don't depends on college on campus placement.
I have took admission through DCET. My annual fee is 38000(for all). They won't take management seat. Only government seats are allowed. Hostel free is 60000 per annum. Hostel is inside the campus. Vtu kalaburagi has good infrastructure too.
Technical Festival: [yukti] – Usually held in October, this event focuses on innovation and technology. It includes workshops, hackathons, coding competitions, and exhibitions where students can display their projects and ideas. This festival is particularly exciting for those interested in engineering and technology, providing a platform for networking and learning. Sports Facilities: The campus includes facilities for sports such as basketball, football, cricket, badminton, and tennis. There is also a well-equipped gymnasium for students who prefer indoor workouts. Regular tournaments and inter-college competitions are held, allowing students to compete and showcase their athletic abilities.Extracurricular Clubs: Beyond sports, the campus hosts numerous clubs that cater to different hobbies and interests, including photography, music, drama, debate, and literature. The faculty-to-student ratio is a crucial factor in determining the level of personalized attention students receive. A lower ratio often means smaller class sizes, which can lead to more meaningful interactions between students and faculty members. Typically, in well-regarded institutions, the ratio ranges from 1:10 to 1:20, allowing for more individualized mentorship and support. The course structure is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Most programs are divided into core courses and electives, allowing students to specialize in areas of interest. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect changes in the industry and academic research, ensuring that students graduate with relevant skills and knowledge. Many courses include case studies, projects, and practical assignments that are directly applicable to real-world scenarios, making the learning experience both relevant and valuable

The eligibilty for placements are from 3rd year of engineering. There are several companies like wipro, tcl and other service based and startup based companies. There are atleast 3-4 offers placed per student according to their criteria. The placement faculty do not fully indulge in preparing to young minds to their desired faculty.
The syllabus is quite old and I think we should be taught a modern syllabus. The time for the exam is not sufficient and the syllabus is to big and quite some difficult, the teaching facilities can be modernization and using modern technology
