Likes
- I like the college infrastructure. It has a very scenic view all around the campus.
- The teachers are also understanding and cooperative.
- Overall company and students from all over the India make the campus very socially active.
Dislikes
- The increasing number of admissions every year is a problem that will have consequences in the future
- The weather sometimes get extreme and makes it difficult to go to the class
- The sports grounds like football, volleyball are not up to the mark
Remarks :
I choose Manipal university Jaipur over other engineering colleges as it is a reputed college in terms of engineering and my friends were also studying there who informed me about the curriculum and for which my interest to join MUJ began. The admission is through a common entrance exam known as MET or Manipal Entrance Test. The admission is also through a direct process by which you have to submit your jee and 12th class marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Manipal has a very comfortable schedule. The classes are either in the first half( 9am-1pm) or second half ( 1pm-6pm ). The subjects in the first year of engineering are same as the studied in class 11th and 12th with coding language included in each sem. The curriculum also includes subjects like Biology and constitution of India which I feel are of no particular use in a engineering background and therefore I feel should not be part of the course.
Internships Opportunities :
There are number of companies that offered internship to students like Wipro, Microsoft, Deloitte etc which offer the job data anylyst, data base engineer etc. The stipend offered from companies varied from 15000-125000 per month.
Placement Experience :
In MUJ, there is a placement cell which helps students know more about the placements and help them. Students get offered internship during their 3rd year itself as there are many companies that come to offer internships. Almost 60-80 % students get placed others apply for further education. My plan after completing graduation is to land a campus placement in my field and gain work ex, which further can help me in pursuing my masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My yearly fees of BTech( Computer Science and Engineering ) is 373000 excluding the hostel, which is another 3.5lacks. The overall tuition for 4 years is around 17 lacks. There are also scholarships available for students from other backgrounds like sc/st.
Campus Life :
The MUJ hackex is a international coding event which is hosted by MUJ and students from many countries participate in the same. There are a number of clubs in the college caring from echo friendly to Coding, machine learning, acting and others. Students can start joing clubs of their choice from first year itself and have a experience in the field.
Hostel Facilities :
MUJ has collaboration with Good Host Spaces(GHS) in making their hostels which offer a very comfortable stay. There are different types of room according to your preference for example single room, double - triple sharing room, and also if you want a luxury room that is also available. It has more than 20 restaurants inside the hostel. The food in the mess is also very hygienic and tasty.
Faculty :
There are almost 4-4.5k students in engineering and a mentor is assignened to every child so as to help him/her with their academics. The faculty is very helpful. There are a total of examinations held in a semester, which includes mid sems(30 marks) and end sems of 80 marks,which are later converted to out of 40. The rest are the internal marks including viva, quiz, assignments etc. If you fail to pass to your end sem in any subject then you have to give a makeup examination for the same.

Placement Experience :

BIT Mesra . Jaipur Review (All aspects explained)

Placements are descent in BIT Mesra , Jaipur . But in 2024 Due to Recession they were not good as previous year. around 100 companies come to the college. average package of 2023 was 10LPA. Highest being 51LPA from microsoft . Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester. around 60-70% students get placed.
MBM UNIVERSITY JODHPUR IS VERY GOOD COLLEGE
Placement Experience :
From 7 semester you are eligible to sit in placements and in core branches placement is very good so many company visit here 7.9 lpa in mech engg is average and highest is 17 lpa all students who sit in placement got placed

NIIT University is a part of NIIT pvt limited company. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. The companies which visit are amazon, yamaha, infosys, zomato, tata, audi etc. The highest package last year was 44 lakhs. 100 percent students are place with 93% role fitment.
