I took admission in City College, Kolkata which is in Amherst Street. I kept it as a backup because it is a government college and it is really tough to get into a government college nowadays. That's all.
The curriculum is very realistic and necessary for every person in this world, irrespective of what they are studying. This course teaches so much about finances, business and commerce as a whole. I would suggest this course to all.
The entire course fees is around 1.5 lakhs. Yearly amount is around 50000. Per semester my course was charged at 28000 and admission charges are excluded. The form for admission is 750 rupees and it is not refundable.
The overall experience I would say is amazing. We get to interact with several famous personnels , celebrities that come here to promote their movies, songs, works. They also have fests where you can showcase your own talent as well.
The faculty members are really experienced and helpful. The only problem here is that the behaviour is a bit invalid and not justified. They teach well and college classes are enough for passing. No need for tuitions.
The commerce department of the college give you every detailed knowledge about the course. Currently our college is associated with summer internship programs so that after completion of the course your cv have boosted to max level.
After 5th semesters students become eligible for campus placement, but placement doesn't usually take place in mass numbers in this college. I want to pursue higher studies like MBA and wants to make my career in finance
The classrooms need to be improved the quality of books should be improved as the teachers teach us from their old books which makes it difficult for us to understand from which portion of the syllabus they are teaching
students of the previous batches we're eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester (for 3 year course). for our batch (4 year course) we'll be provided with placements in the 8th semester. Deloitte, PWC and many other companies approach.
