- The candidates must have passed 10+2 in any subject with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board or equivalent.
- The maximum age for General category candidates is 20 years while for reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC), the maximum age is 22 years on July 1 of the admission year.
- The candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC) get 3% relaxation, i.e. 42% minimum aggregate in 10+2.
