At Undergraduate level, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (CAET) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Agriculture Engineering to the candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Agriculture. The duration of the course is four years.

The students who have qualified 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible to participate in the admission process. However, the eligible candidates will have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

• Candidates under Kashmiri Migrants (K.M.) category and under Haryana Government School Toppers (HGST) category shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit of percentage of qualifying exam through Online Off-Campus Counselling by NIC (National Informatics Centre, New Delhi and State Unit, Chandigarh).
• Required aggregate marks for General category candidates is 50%.
• For Scheduled Caste and Person with Disability category candidates, the required aggregate marks are 47.5%.

CAET, Hisar also offers the Postgraduate program like Master of Technology (M.Tech) in three different specializations like Farm Machinery & Power Engineering, Soil and Water Engineering, and Processing and Food Engineering. The three specializations are offered for a duration period of two years each.

Admission to M.Tech is done through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the IITs. A Graduate Degree in BE or B.Tech is mandatory in order to seek admission in the above-mentioned course.
