Dr DY Patil Institute of Optometry & Visual Sciences brings about overall holistic development of the community by encouraging research & training the students in comprehensive eye-care. It raises the standard of education that contributes to the health & welfare of the society.

It is the first college of optometry to provide a UGC recognised degree in optometric science in India. It is a constituent unit of Dr. DY Patil university (deemed university), Pimpri, Pune. The faculties have attended various national & international seminars in the last 5 years. It has worked with NGO’s & children with special needs.
