GMC Latur Scholarship for SC students \r\n\r\n

This scholarship is given under the Social Justice and Special Assistance department of GMC Latur. This scholarship covers 100% of tuition and examination fees and provides a maintenance allowance to eligible SC students. It covers two scholarships and one freeship offered by the government which are as follows:\r\n\r\n

  The students belonging to this category can apply for the scholarship only if they qualify for the eligibility criteria as follows:\r\n\r\n

  • Family annual income shall be less than or equal to INR 2,50,000.\r\n\t
  • The student must belong to the SC or Navbouddha category.\r\n\t
  • The student must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination.\r\n\t
  • Only one failure is allowed in the complete curriculum.\r\n\t

    GMC Latur Scholarship for ST students \r\n\r\n

    GMC Latur Tribal Development Department offers this scholarship to ST students. Eligible ST students are paid a maintenance allowance and a 100% tuition fee waiver. This scheme covers the following scholarships offered by the government:\r\n\r\n

      GMC Latur Scholarship for ST students Eligibility Criteria \r\n\r\n

      The students belonging to the ST category can apply for the scholarship only if they qualify for the eligibility criteria as follows:\r\n\r\n

      • If a student fails continuously for two years, he or she will not be eligible for the scholarship.\r\n\t
      • The annual family income should not exceed INR 2,50,000.\r\n\t
      • Students must pass the previous year's examination to avail of the scholarship benefit for the coming year.\r\n\r\n\r\n

        GMC Latur Scholarship for VJNT, OBC and SBC students \r\n\r\n

        This scholarship is available for the VJNT, OBC, and SBC students. Students in these categories get the maintenance allowance and a 100% tuition fee waiver. It is managed by the Department of VJNT, OBC, and SBC Welfare under GMC Latur. It covers the Post-Matric Scholarship offered by the Government of India.\r\n\r\n

        GMC Latur Scholarship for VJNT, OBC and SBC students Eligibility Criteria \r\n\r\n

        The students belonging to VJNT, OBC, and SBC categories can apply for the scholarship only if they qualify for the eligibility criteria as follows:\r\n\r\n

        • Annual family income should not exceed INR 1,00,000.\r\n\t
        • Applicants must be a resident of Maharashtra & belong to the specified categories.\r\n\t
        • If a student fails in an academic year, the scholarship will be discontinued for the coming years.\r\n\t
        • The student should have a compulsory attendance of 75%.\r\n\t
        • Only 2 boys from the same family are allowed to be the beneficiaries of the scholarship, however, there is no bar for the girl children. \r\n\r\n\r\n

          GMC Latur Scholarship for EBC students\r\n\r\n

          GMC Latur scholarship for EBC students is given under \u201cThe Directorate of Medical Education and Research\u201d. The scholarship can be availed by MBBS and BDS students. They will be entitled to a 50% tuition and development allowance. Students will get a hostel allowance of INR 30,000 per year. This scheme covers the following scholarships:\r\n\r\n

            The students belonging to the EBC category can apply for the scholarship only if they qualify for the eligibility criteria as follows:\r\n\r\n

            • Candidate must have taken admission through the General or SEBC category \r\n\t

              GMC Latur maintenance allowance is available for SC\/ST and VJNT students. The allowance is offered to students studying in professional courses under the \u201cSocial Justice and Special Assistance & Tribal Development Department of GMC Latur. If the course duration is 4-5 years, students are given INR 700 per month. The students can apply for this scholarship if they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below:\r\n\r\n
