Himachal Institute of Technology Feeling the necessity of well qualified engineers in the country, the Himachal Institute of Technology was set up under the aegis of Dr. Puran Chand Medical Charitable Trust. This Institute has been providing excellent engineering education to the students and offers state of the art infrastructure to support academic excellence. Five Engineering disciplines are taught here. They are- Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering.
