SSM College of Engineering offers undergraduate programs in engineering under five different specializations. It also offers postgraduate programs in engineering and management such as Master Of Technology (M.Tech.) and Master Of Business Administration(MBA). The basic eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./ B. Tech programs is a pass in HSC or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
Selection of candidates for the B.E/ B. Tech programs is done on the basis of 10+2 marks through TNEA counselling.

Candidates must download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue on the assigned dates along with all relevant documents (original and photocopies) and a demand draft of INR 5000.

·The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the M.E./ M. Tech courses is a B.E./ B. Tech degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks.
· The minimum marks eligibility criteria for reserved category candidates is 45% marks (for all PG courses) in the qualifying degree examination.
· The candidates with B.E./B. Tech degree through distance mode are not eligible for admission to M.E./ M. Tech programs.

The candidate should be pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% marks at the qualifying examination.
