Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE) is one of the leading engineering colleges of Buldana district of Maharashtra. Started in 1983, the college is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE) offers B.E., M.E., and MBA courses in various fields of engineering and management leading to graduation and post graduation.

Any aspiring candidate can take admissions into the college via two modes: Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or through institute level counselling as per the norms of DTE, Maharashtra.
Admission to first year B.E shall be based on candidate’s score in MH-CET, while admission to M.E shall be made on the basis of GATE scores of eligible candidates.
Those who wish to pursue MBA course must apply through CAP based on MAH-MBA scores.
Lateral admissions to the college shall also be done through CAP and merit of qualifying examination.
All India candidates can apply for B.E. course through JEE Main score; for MBA through CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT score.
Candidates need to register online for CAP through a computer with internet facility or can visit the nearest Facilitation Centre for applying.

SSGMCE offers B.E. degree in five specializations and lateral entry admission in second year of B.E. Selection to first year of B.E. will be based on MH-CET score. Applicants must also register for CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. All India candidature candidates can apply on the basis of JEE Main score.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained at least 50% marks. Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc. Degree from a UGC recognized and have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 12 are eligible for lateral admission.

The college also offers degree of Master in Engineering in four specializations at post graduate level. The counselling of eligible candidates is strictly done on the basis of valid GATE scores.

Any candidate seeking admission to first year of M.E. must have passed bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology in a relevant branch with minimum 50% marks from an institution approved by AICTE/Central/ State Government or equivalent.

SSGMCE runs a comprehensive course of MBA with 60 seats in total. Maharashtra candidates have to apply on the basis of MAH CET MBA scores while All India candidature candidates can apply on the scores of other national level entrance tests such as CAT/XAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT. Admissions are given to eligible candidates through CAP.

To be eligible, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC or AIU recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
