Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility for this course requires, passing the higher secondary school certificate (10+2)examination with science subject such as, maths, physics, and English as compulsory courses. In addition they must also have one Subject out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science.

Minimum percentage of marks in class 12/ higher secondary Examination is generally from45% to 50 %.

Since most institutions have an Entrance Exam, the students who have appeared in Higher Secondary Examination and are awaiting results can apply too.

Some colleges, like Amrita Vishwa Vidyapaeetham University, Coimbatore also accept a three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education as an optional factor for eligibility to the program.
