Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time MA Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

1. The duration of M.A. (Economics) degree course shall be two years (four semesters).

2. A person who has passed one of the following examinations from P.U. Chd. or any other University whose examination has been recognized under 10+2+3 system of education shall be eligible to join the first year (semester-I) class of the M.A. course :-.

i) Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

ii) Master’s degree examination in another subject or another stream.

iii) Students coming from states other than Punjab are eligible to seek admission to M.A. class subject to the conditions laid down by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
