Placement in CSE department is decent, they get you a job but not very promising package, you have to go off campus for good Placements, the college brings companies but not very attractive offers, even you have to find internships on your own.
After 7th sem you can sit for campus interview and some companies may allow backlog with previous semester. Tata motors, wood, Atlas copco , amazon and many other companies have done their interview. The highest package is 21 lakhs and avg of 3.5lakhs per annum is provided . I would suggest for gate exam
If i compre to other government college with placement then in our college placement is not good. In our college need to upgrades placement faculty and process. Name of company visited in our college is LNT, ADANI, TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO etc.
50 to 60 per cent of students got placed with on-campus placement, in MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon India, Tech Mahindra etc, final year students eligible for campus placement with 7.5 cgpa. The highest package is 10 LPA and avg package is 4.5 to 5 LPA approx.
From 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Cognizant, IBM, TCS and various companies for the core deptertment visited. According to 2022 placement history above 85% of students from my stream got placements.
