Admission process was really smooth as all I had to do was fill an application form and a few weeks later I recieved an offer letter from the college. Then we just had to submit the required documents and it was all done.
I had a passion for robotics since my childhood so that mostly influenced my choice to take admission in MIT-WPU. They can make huge improvements after taking out filler courses like peace, yoga, and subjects like that. We can have a P.E subject in place for yoga but they don't have a ground as of now so it's not even possible for us to play outside. Mid terms and end terms happen every semester. Mid terms usually happen after 4 months after the semester starts and end terms in the last month. Exams are usually moderate difficulty if one studied well.
I'm not aware of the internships in my college yet but I've heard that it's pretty often and most students will get it guaranteed. We do have a final project in our third year and one in the final year too.
Our faculty told us students can get placements from any semester if they are capable and have a good GPA. The highest package was from Google for 51LPA. Average is around 7LPA. I'm not aware of the percentage of students getting placements but if I get a placement I'll proceed with that otherwise I'll go for masters.
My annual fees is 315000 + 31000 for development fees, the college offers a discount for ews students and scholarships for those who scored well in JEE exam. Students can join clubs where they can learn more than what the college faculty teaches them and gain real work experience.
A lot of festivals happen every year in college like RIDE which is a technical festival after 1st year and some casual fun festivals. A wide range of books and computers are available at the library. Not much facilities are available within the classroom, there is a lack of power plugs with most of them being at the back of the class. Students can opt for sports competitions however there is no sports facilities within the campus except basketball. Clubs are a great source for interaction with people of same interest and gain actual experience and knowledge.
Every semester there is atleast one faculty member who is a bit confused however that's the situation everywhere. Most faculty members are on time everyday and have a passion for teaching, they share notes and continuesly ask for doubts.
The students become eligible for placement from the third year. Many well known companies visit . Also because to the limited strength of each batch most of the students are placed before they pass out from the college.
The curriculum is different from the one followed by SPPU , some subjects you'll find useless . Rest is similar to what other colleges have . There'll be a sports slot for only the first years though . Later you have more core subjects.
