The course electronics and communication engineering was very good course .it is both IT and core based jobs so it is multibased course ec as bright future in next generation. So my preference is to join the ec.
Our college global academy of technology is an autonomous college that is affiliated to VTU. Our college as mentioned is autonomous that is the curriculum and portions is similar to what vtu students study but yet it is different i.e, they omit or add the required topics and relevant or irrelevant topics.
The course is generally well aligned with industry needs especially in computer science and information technology and electronics. Subjects such as AI, data science, cybersecurity and cloud computing are increasingly included in curriculum. The curriculum is highly relevant especially in technical fields, with a strong emphasis on emerging technologies and industry alligned skills.

After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement.There are many companies which visit in this college like oracle, adobe,tcs, Accenture, Samsung, Mercedes, etc The highest package is about 59 lakh which is offered by Microsoft. The average package is about 6-7 lakh. About 85 percent of students get placed. After getting a degree plan is to land in a good company with a good package
Placement rates are ok in this college. Right now placement for electronics and communication is Less than computer science and also the job opportunities is also less because of the competition and since there is recession.
