- Campus is one thing that should be looked after..no field for sports available
Remarks :
Admission can be taken through WBJEE, JEE MAINS or IEMJEE which is a exam conduct by iem itself .For each semester two midesems of 30 marks eacha re being conducted along with one semester exam at the end of the semester
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is to the point and concise . A number of extra subjects are being taught like Essential studies for professional which includes topics like quant , aptitude which helps in clearing different exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for each semester is 85,000. And apart from that a total payment of rupees 1lac 10 thousand had to be paid during the time of admission.. Scholarships and grants are available in this college.
Campus Life :
A lot of student run clubs and social groups are quite functional in this institution which offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities to the students apart from academics Classrooms are equipped with projectors .
Faculty :
The faculties available at the institution are quite experienced and easy to approach and ratio of students to faculties is quite good. most of the faculties have completed their doctorate and research studies.

Our IEM kolkata college is famous for discipline and placements record. This college is the one of the best college in placement record. Here minimum package 5lpa and avarage package is 8lpa and highest package is 72lpa.

About my course , yea it is good , there are some subjects, like iks , Indian constitution, values and ethics, I don't think so this are really needed , but some subjects like computer practicals are damn. good , and interesting

From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. 10-20 or more companies visit our college. Highest package is about 76 lacs and average package is about 4.5 lacs which isn't bad. 70% + students get placed as freshers.

Form 3 year that means from 5th semester students become eligible for the campus placement. Highest package in our college is 40 lakhs in Amazon and off campus placement package is around 60 lakhs.averge package in our college is 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed is 70-80 percent. my plans after getting the degree is metch from iit or nit.

All About Haldia Institute of Technology
Placement Experience :
The campus placement starts mainly from 6th semester.The campus placement is good, but this year i.e. 2023-24 the placement rate was around 52% which was 91% in previous year. The mechanical and food technology branches had the maximum placement this session with almost 80%+ placement rate, the non-core branches like CSE, AIML had very low placement rate. The highest package offered this year was 33lpa which was 22lpa previous year. The avg package was 3-4.5 lpa. After my graduation I would try for campus placement.

The place here is good enough i would not say every one gets it but every one can get it and by that i mean if u have the talent u can have the job for yourself be it amazon microsoft or any maang companies.u would never feel like i am not elegible for this or for that every one has equal opportunities this year my senior secured an internship at Microsoft for 1.25 lacs per month.
