Some of the other colleges I applied to also had good reputations, but they didn’t offer the same level of discipline and academic rigor that my college is known for.The faculty at my college is highly experienced and supportive, with a focus on both theory and practical applications. This was a key factor for me as I wanted to learn from professionals who have real-world experience.While other colleges had qualified faculty, I felt that the personal attention and support I could receive at my current college would be better, which influenced my decision.The curriculum here is comprehensive and updated regularly to include the latest industry trends. This ensures that the education is relevant and prepares us well for the job market.Some of the other colleges had good programs, but their curricula were not as regularly updated, which was a concern for me in terms of staying current with industry demands.

Faculty :

They are easy to talk to and are always ready to help with any questions about studies, projects, or career advice. They encourage students to reach out whenever they need help. From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. 10-20 or more companies visit our college. Highest package is about 76 lacs and average package is about 4.5 lacs which isn't bad. 70% + students get placed as freshers.

Form 3 year that means from 5th semester students become eligible for the campus placement. Highest package in our college is 40 lakhs in Amazon and off campus placement package is around 60 lakhs.averge package in our college is 5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed is 70-80 percent. my plans after getting the degree is metch from iit or nit.

All About Haldia Institute of Technology
Placement Experience :
The campus placement starts mainly from 6th semester.The campus placement is good, but this year i.e. 2023-24 the placement rate was around 52% which was 91% in previous year. The mechanical and food technology branches had the maximum placement this session with almost 80%+ placement rate, the non-core branches like CSE, AIML had very low placement rate. The highest package offered this year was 33lpa which was 22lpa previous year. The avg package was 3-4.5 lpa. After my graduation I would try for campus placement.

The place here is good enough i would not say every one gets it but every one can get it and by that i mean if u have the talent u can have the job for yourself be it amazon microsoft or any maang companies.u would never feel like i am not elegible for this or for that every one has equal opportunities this year my senior secured an internship at Microsoft for 1.25 lacs per month.
