- Alumini network, UVCE has the best alumini network in whole Bangalore, which supports us and keeps us informed about latest skills needed in the market
- There are 8 cultural club and 4 technical clubs which keeps campus life so intriguing.
- Most of faculties here are so experienced one, who's wisdom guides us in every way possible.
Dislikes
- I guess, delays in announcing sem exams dates, they literally announce it in the last moment.
- The college which doesn't have a permanent canteen.
- Lab equipments need to be upgraded and some infrastructure tooo.
Remarks :
U should complete ur 12th exam, should have written kcet, the admission in our college is only through kcet. Admission and everything is done in KCET offical website. Then u have to go for college for final procedure of ur admission. Sem exams happens once in 4-5 months
Course Curriculum Overview :
As of now we learnt so little regarding our course but in the things we learnt, our curriculum is designed in such a way that it helps us in understanding the basics of everything, although few of the topics are outdated which happens in every college.
Internships Opportunities :
•Around 115 companies have visited UVCE so far for the 2023 Batch Students and more than 353 offers have been made to students across various streams. •Many prestigious companies have visited UVCE for campus recruitment of current batch students and around 653 offers have been made to students across various streams. The highest package was 30 LPA, which was offered to 3 students. •Over 142 companies had visited to recruit 2021 Batch Students and more than 435 offers were made with good compensation packages, with the highest being 50.25 LPA offered by an Australian-based organisation.
Placement Experience :
•From 5th and 6th sems students are eligible for campus placement. • 84% students placed in UVCE, highest placements rate is in EEE. •The placement rate is 4% more compared to last year. •The UVCE authorities said the highest package offered is Rs 26.5 lakh per annum. A student, Subramanya, has received an offer from an America-based Cloud Security company. •In the 2023 batch, the highest package offered was Rs 53 lakh per annum. •Of the eligible 436 students, 354 students have got the offers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
•For first I paid around 47,750 as tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees and the other commodity charges. Plus before every sem exams we pay around 2500 as exam fees, valuations fees etcc... •Our fees reduce as we go to second and third year respectively.... •tution fees for SC, ST category is 500 rupees •reliance scholarship based on thier own exam which provides 50k per student per academic year. Simons scholarship which takes responsibility of college fees plus hostel fees plus gives a laptop. State government scholarship which depends upon what category ur from..
Campus Life :
In total UVCE has 2ethic day per year. 2 cultural fests per year. 2 technical fests per year. We have a big library which mainly focuses on academics then entertainment. We unfortunately has no sports club but we have dance, singing, drama, technically and mainly we have IEEE CLUB. I can say infrastructure especially benches and classrooms need to be upgraded.
Faculty :
We have contact of almost every faculty in the college. Most of the teachers are well skilled in thier respective field. Rather then spoon feeding everything, they make us learn on our own. We have faculties who did thier studies in prestige universities in India like IIM, iisc etc.....

After 6 semesters students are eligible for campus placement.There are many companies which visit in this college like oracle, adobe,tcs, Accenture, Samsung, Mercedes, etc The highest package is about 59 lakh which is offered by Microsoft. The average package is about 6-7 lakh. About 85 percent of students get placed. After getting a degree plan is to land in a good company with a good package

In our department also our HOD will always conduct many programs and webinars about placements, training, etc. to improve our communication skills either offline or online. I chose this course because now AI is being integrated into every field. So we can use AI and make our work easier. Our department also gives opportunities for extracurricular activities and sports. For that also we will get activity points. In our branch, by the third semester, only placement opportunities will come, and also in the first semester only we can do an internship. For that also our faculties will provide us with information.
