I applied to different colleges through the CAP round so I got allotted to this college and I took admission because there were only 3 rounds and I got my name in the 2 nd round so I didn't want to risk losing a college near to my city.
As I'm a student studying electrics engineering, the syllabus keeps growing in higher classes, and with so many other things to do about college, it's good to provide students with a question bank and proper study material. The course curriculum is good.
Companies offering placements are companies like Flipkart, capgemini, and Amazon, and roles like assistant computer handling stuff like that which can be done on complex computer knowledge. The outcome is the physical knowledge that we can gain from performing these tasks.
From semester 5 or 6, the students start training placement in different workplaces according to the expertise of a particular student as different students have different abilities to work and knowledge.
1st year fees for an SC category student is 7000. For other categories, it goes upto 86000 per year. Tuition fees and other types of fees that are compulsory to pay differ as per the category and are divided into the fee structure
There are a few festivals/ events taking place in our college, the biggest is called ignite, and other events like sports week, and annual show are held in the college campus or auditorium in Navi Mumbai. The books in our library are available in a wide range. There are many clubs but I think the interview for these types of clubs happens irrationally but no one says anything cuz it happens on the inside.
I can't say much about the faculty and as for the exam view, Instead of motivating and helping students, faculty say things about failure. They completes the course on time, and they are approachable.
4th year (7th semester and 8th semester) students are eligible for placements. Post eligibility terms and conditions applied and required by the companies are also to be kept in mind. Students are also well trained for interviews and placements. Various Industrial visits are organised. Skill improvement camps are also provides and hosted. Club activities are also supported. Average package is round 5-6 LPA and 100% placement by 60+ companies.

The placement opportunities here are huge many companies come here to hire students in the third year itself to hire for internships and then according to their performance will get hired permanently after completing
Smt. Indira Gandhi college of engineering is known to be the placement capital of Mumbai. As most of the students gets in campus placements through college. The maximum package offered by the companies is 14 lpa
MIT follows NEP since 2023 .The level of difficulty of exams is moderate . The are 2 Periodic test which is for 20 marks and one end sem examination which is for 50 marks . There are practical exams after theory exam.
Placement of IIT Bombay is very good . This is also one of the main reasons why everyone dream to take admission here. Students become eligible for placement in 4th year of College and they start getting Intern in the end of 2nd year . Mostly end 3rd year. Most of World top companions offered placement to my college students with highest of 4Cr. Package last year. Avg. Package is in between 30-35 LPA. 90 percent students get placement.
