In counselling i filled my form for this college and i my percentile was matching with their criteria and this college is actually goods in placements, internship, and teaching . Faculty is good they will help. And admission process was on CET basis
About the exam exam is difficult in some subjects a nd about the course mine is Ai &ds.. College comes under the NEP rule so curriculum are changed and know it influences for real world application. This dept is having improvement in this rule so that's why i choose this
In college i dont know but they will help you in guiding and finding some companies for your internships. But they dont give you internship in microsoft, Amazon that you have to do it by yourself Normally they will just guide you
After before and after completing the course their are some Placement session in which they guide you baiut all placement things like resume, communication and all. Like in this college JP morgan, Accenture etc and more MNCs come. There are 80 to 90 % that you will get placed.
So ig yearly fee starts from 90000 something yearly And there is a quota for sc, st and also minority quota. They also have scholarship to minority category . My batchmates fees are also same as mine And about the scholarship they give ig half of the price (tution fees)
There are so many technical fests like Hackathon, coding fests (tech). About the sports they conduct inner and outer soprts competition among college to college and dept wise And about the library you get any books you want for your depts subject or reference books, previous papers etc.
Our department hod is very nice person. Faculty is very good, they help in academics, others things also. In there are 11 exams in a year (theroy) . And other practical exam. Theey conduct tests, ut, internal and external exams in a semester
I am a technical student so I have a mind set that I have to go in a technical field only I started my technical career from 11th as choosing a vocational subject in 11th and 12th frequency and timings we come to know a month ago so you have to prepare your self everyday and areas of improvement is that you make technical mund strong
So placements start right from 7 th sem Also they provide coaching endorsements for gre and toefl who plan for abroad studies The percentage of getting placements is also quite good As seen from the previous records
There are placements in college in particular department. But for cs, it, and etc having equal placements so that their is quite difficult for got select in PI round. There is alot of competition for placements.
I choose this course of chemical engineering because there are lot of chemical campanies near my village like supreme,realiance, sudarshan. etc those companies are very famous for chemical industries .
The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.
Previous year placement ratio is quite good but this year students facing the problems as not expected students got placement the reason is not known but few saying because of the recession the reason behind that
Campus placement nears 100% for almost every batch. That is the main attraction of the institute. Several companies come throughout the 4 years. In some cases, students are placed in the first year itself. Companies keep coming and recruiting in bulk.
