Truly I didn't apply for any other colleges, I was told to be in this college. I chose this college as this was already booked by my parents earlier when I was in grade 12th. The admission process of my college is very simple, you just have to pay fees and you can get admitted in here. You don't need to give any exam for getting admission in my college. There are mainly no cutoffs, there are no good placements for our future.
The total student seated in my class are approx 60 and the total strength of my class is above 90. The girls:boys ratio for my course and for the college overall is 30:70. The cultural diversity of the class is good as many students comes from different parts of India, but we bond really well. Most of the students comes from Bihar and Haryana only. The peer group is nothing in my class or course or all-over college, but some classes makes group and they unite and presents their class as one. Yes, we have marks for participating in class, they are called internal marks which are given by our teachers. Mostly students genuinely attend the classes just for attendance not for learning.
I don't know if our college gives any summer internship or not but many of the students prefer to get internship off-campus as they think off-campus internship and jobs will be much better than on-campus ones. There is not many students who wants to do internship as they already have a business in their homes, so they prefer the business over any internship or job.
The final placements starts in our last year of our course. It takes a whole semester for the placements to officially get over. No everyone doesn't get placed in on-campus placements, many prefer off-campus placements on their own. The college doesn't do anything for the left ones. The highest CTC offered was 4 LPA.
The tuition fees of our college is very affordable for everyone. The fee structure goes like:- B.Tech 5 Courses - ₹95,000 (1st Yr Fees) 10+2 with 45% 29 May BCA 1 Course - ₹75,000 (1st Yr Fees) 10+2 with 45% marks MBA 1 Course - ₹90,000 (1st Yr Fees) Graduation with 50% BBA 2 Courses - ₹60,000 (1st Yr Fees) 10+2 with 45% B.Tech {Lateral} 5 Courses - ₹60,000 (1st Yr Fees) 10+3 with 45% Whereas I paid ₹33500 for each semester and ₹25000 for transport. Mostly students incur in their grocery for hostel as they don't like much the mess' food. The fees varies for a girl student as in 15% of the semester fees is deducted. Our college does not provide any financial aid for the students.
The sports facility are good in our college as there are many sports that can be played in sports events. The college doesn't contain a gym. The auditorium and library are also well maintained as they are the mostly shown places in the college. No, relatives cannot visit us for a night stay as the college don't have any guest rooms for relatives. The overall campus life is boring, many students just take classes and go home or respective hostels and just sleep. The nightlife of the college is worse many students peek out of their hostels and just roam here and there without permission. The locality is not safe for girls to roam freely outside the campus. There are no student exchange or international immersion of any student.
Boys and girls are not allowed to enter eachother 's hostels as it is prohibited. There is only 1 hotel for boys and 1 hostel for girls. Students are not allowed to go outside of the hostel after 10 PM as it is also prohibited. They are in a very poor condition. The washrooms are also not well maintained. I don't love in a hostel, but most of my friends share a triple sharing option as it is more affordable. The facilities are not good as other colleges, but it does contain some chairs, study table, etc for students, but they are not well maintained. The washrooms are common for everyone in the hostel but ther are poorly maintained. There are 4 washrooms for everyone the hostel to use.
The admission process is very simple, if we go directly to the college without consulting anyone, we can just pay the fees and get the admission done. If we go by a counseling session with the academic counselors, we can go by them and get our admission done. Mainly the CUET exam is preferred in all colleges but if a student didn't give CUET exam, then also he/she can apply in our college. The 12th grade examination must have a above 65% for the admission. If the student couldn't get above 65%, he/she might need to donate in the college for the admission. There is no management quota here.
Students do fail in internals if didn't performed well. The bad aspects of my course is it requires a bundle of soft skills which is very different for an introvert and a good aspect about MBA is tha it's more practical course it's not based on study and study . In a year there are total 18 exams including viva and external exams. The teaching method of the every teacher is different from other ,the practical subjects teacher example statistics teacher prefer smartboard marker to make students understand whereas the theoretical subject teacher teaches the lessons via ppt or pdf through smart board. The faculty that admires me the most is my coordinator, he's so supportive and understanding. The total no. Of classes in a day are 6 each of 50minutes and there's 30 minutes luch break . 75% attendance is mandatory for students in each subject as every teacher take their own attendance and if the student fail to acquire 75% attendance then his /her internal marks are deducted.
