St George’s Hospital Medical School established in 1733 was initially based in Hyde Park Corner. It was the second teaching hospital in England to provide formal training to doctors. St George’s is the only university in the UK to specialize in Medicine and Health Care. The University enrolls around 5,500 students every year and 800 faculty members.

St. George’s Campus

St George’s, University of London campus is located in the south of London in Tooting.
The University shares its campus with the St George's Hospital which is home of Channel 4’s 24 hours in A&E. It is fully equipped with state of the art educational technologies.
The campus includes 2 coffee shops, 3 cafes, an M&S store and a restaurant. There is also a student’s union store and a Whistle Store.
The Student’s Union offers a number of recreational spaces such as a music room, a games room and a welfare room. The student’s union is also home to 100+ student clubs and societies devoted to various fields of interest.
The Dragon Bar at St George’s is the hub of all student activities hosting numerous social events all year round.
Tooting town centre is just a short walking distance from the campus where students can shop, eat at restaurants and visit the Tooting and Broadway Market.

St. George’s Residence

St George’s offers on-campus accommodation to students at residence halls and Horton Halls, located 15 minutes away from the main campus.
Each flat can accommodate 4-8 students and consists of bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen and dining area.
The University offers guaranteed accommodation to first-year students provided they submit an accommodation request before July 1, 2023.
The hall has 332 standard rooms furnished with a single bed and 154 premium rooms equipped with a small double bed.
All rooms have standard furnishing of a bed, carpet, wardrobe, desk and chair, desk lamp, bookcase, fan, waste paper basket etc. The shared kitchens contain fridges, microwaves, toasters, kettles, dishwashers etc.
Internet access is available in every room. On-site laundry facilities, common rooms and secure reception centres are also available in each block.

St. George’s Courses

St George’s University of London offers degrees in medicine and health care at the undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels.
The traditional MBBS in Medicine at the undergraduate level is a 5-year program.
B.Sc. degrees are available in Radiotherapy, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Clinical Pharmacology, Healthcare Science and much more.
At the graduate level, the university offers a masters degree apprentice program in Advanced Clinical Practice to experienced health care professionals.

Global Health M.Sc International Student Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to one international student from a low to middle-income family and enrolled in the Global Health M.Sc. program. The value of this award covers full tuition fee and a stipend of 17,000 GBP.
Physician Associate Studies MPAS Scholarship: This scholarship is given to 7 students every year enrolled in the MPAS Physician Associate Studies program. The value of this award is 3,000 GBP.
