C 1: JEE Rank <=50,000\r\n\t\t\t	100% of the tuition fee\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
C 2: JEE Rank <= 1,00,000\r\n\t\t\t	50% of the tuition fee\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
C 3: JEE Rank <= 1,50,000\r\n\t\t\t	30% of the tuition fee\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
To be eligible for scholarships starting in the second year, the specified prerequisites need to be satisfied:  First year CGPA >= 9, no backlogs in any semester\r\n\t\t\t	100% of the tuition fee\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
First year CGPA >= 8.5, no backlogs in any semester\r\n\t\t\t	50% of the tuition fee\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t
First year CGPA >= 8, no backlogs in any semester\r\n\t\t\t	30% of the tuition fee\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Clarification: For a C-1 student to maintain eligibility for the 100% TFW programme in the second year, they must pass all semesters in the first year without any backlogs and achieve a CGPA of 9 or higher. If the first-year CGPA is equal to or more than 8.5 and there are no backlogs in any semester, then 50% of the tuition price will be waived for the second year. The entry criteria will determine the maximum amount of the scholarship. C-2 or C-3 students, in any situation, cannot avail themselves of 100% TFW. (Diploma programmes should have identical branches.) The entry criteria will determine the maximum amount of the scholarship.\r\n\r\n NIST Berhampur M.Tech Scholarship\r\n\r\n \r\n\t The institution would offer an additional Rs. 5,000 to students with a valid GATE score. They will avail the scholarship provided by the government in accordance with AICTE norms.\r\n\r\n\r\n \u200bNIST Berhampur MBA Scholarship \r\n\r\n \r\n\t 30% TFW for securing a mark >=80% or 8.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.5. \r\n\t 20% TFW for securing a mark >=70% or 7.5 CGPA in graduation. To avail the scholarship in the second year, the student must have no backlog in any semester with a CGPA >=8.0. \r\n\r\n\r\n NIST Berhampur PhD Merit Scholarship \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Full-time PhD scholars would get a monthly fellowship of Rs 25,000 for a duration of 3 years. Note:Full-time PhD students will assist in taking lectures and labs. \r\n\t Students may obtain financial aid from external funding agencies, including UGC, CSIR, NBHM, DST, DAE, and industry. =\r\n\r\n\r\n NIST Berhampur Sibling Scholarship \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Sibling scholarships are available to the immediate siblings of a student or alumni on a one-time basis. The amount is Rs 10,000. \r\n\r\n\r\n NIST Berhampur Employee Immediate Relationship Scholarship \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Spouses or children of permanent NIST employees will receive a 20% tuition fee waiver annually while pursuing their studies. \r\n\r\n\r\n NIST Berhampur Research Assistantship\r\n\r\n \r\n\t The institute will offer the scholarship to students for research purposes or to assist faculty in research. Up to 5 students from either the 3rd or 4th year will be awarded this scholarship after a selection process. Students usually need to have achieved a 9.0 CGPA without any backlog. Selected students would receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 3000 for three months. \r\n\r\n\r\n NIST Berhampur Teaching Assistantship (TA)\r\n\r\n \r\n\t The Institute will fund this scholarship for the students to enable faculty to support academic teaching activities (e.g., lab support, grading, etc.). A maximum of 5 students per batch (3rd year or 4th year students) based on the selection process will receive this scholarship. The department is eligible to get a TA if seats are filled >= 80%. Typically, students must have secured a 9.0 CGPA without a back paper.
