A trustworthy review

What I Liked

I liked that students of various states are there means fully diversed culture
Various club activities were there, moreover one of the greatest cultural fest ADVITya
Fully flexible credit system is there in university means you can create your time table and choose your own faculty in each semester

What I didn’t like

Campus is being situated 70 km from the main city Bhopal
After 8.30 you are not allowed to go out of hostel

Campus Life:

There are various clubs were there in my college for both technical and non technical events , they make us involved in various club activities including competitions and hackathons , every year one cultural and technical fest is there named ADVITya and vivaan. Various books and journals are available in VIT library , sports competition were also there , various sports were there.

Proctor system for outing you have to take permission from your proctor
Only two outing is allowed in one month.
Veg and non veg both food served in same mess

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel fees is very high and they don't provide basic facility even no hot water and bathroom is very dirty Veg and non veg both foot serving in same mess room will be given according to their CGPA you can must leave outside nearest ashta or sehore

Campus Life:

There is no thing like campus life you just feel like you live in boarding school There is no much competition in clubs Lack of infrastructure No proper roads No sports ground, student are playing in roads

VIT Bhopal: Explained Fully

What I Liked

personaliAspects I appreciated in this college were A1 academic facilities and teaching moreover the class size is of 70 students.
Campus Life at VIT is very hectic and stressful everyone is into too much pressure moreover the location of the campus is very
Faculties are exceptionally talented and hardworking all the faculties at VIT Bhopal hold a PhD degree in their area of expertise teaching

What I didn’t like

We came to know due to recession there hasn't been any single placement since last 6 months for the 24 graduating batch
Infrastructure is not fully developed moreover the hostels are of poor quality and lack of services, mess food is also very bad apart from that water is highly unfit for drinking.
Course curriculum and Training are the positives of VITB, their rigorous grinding for placement training and directors and PAT team always busy

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is okayish rooms are indeed good but powercuts are frequent. Mess food and water provided are very bad in quality students do suffer from anything every second day. Registration process for hostel is easy you get a mail for hostel counselling where you choose your room type and Block.

Campus Life:

Annual Festival of vit bhopal is AdVITya,it is held generally at the beginning of the year in February every year. Library is full of books whether you want course books or fictional books, quite easy process to issue the book. Extracurricular activities offered here are Cricket, Football, badminton etc. , apart from that you get clubs to have an exposure and create something new.

Among these two, NIT Raipur will be a better choice. Here is some insight about the institutes.

VIT Bhopal: In recent years, admissions in VIT were open for VIT rank > 1 Lakh, and even after that, the seats remained empty. As this is a new institute the infrastructure and faculty base is not that strong. It lacks good infrastructural facilities. There is no alumni network.
NIT Raipur: On the other hand, NIT Raipur is one of the most popular colleges in our country and you will have good faculty there. The only concern is your choice of branch. Choose B.Arch only if you are truly interested in Architecture.

LNCT Bhopal IT will be better. It is considered among the best private institutes in Bhopal. The academics and placement offered by the institute are excellent. Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, DXC, etc. are some of the major recruiters for the branch. LNCT placements are excellent for IT. During the recent placement drive, students of the branch received the highest CTC of INR 27 LPA.

It’s difficult to determine which institute is better as the courses are not mentioned for the given college. However, given below are information about the colleges which may help you make the decision.

Ranking:

VIT Bhopal: The college was ranked number 1 by ARRIA in the list of the top private colleges for innovation in the academic year 2019.
Nirma University: It was ranked among the top 100 institutions in the country by NIRF in the academic year 2018. This university was the first private university in the state.
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University: The college was ranked as 151 out of the top 200 universities in India by NIRF. For MBA it was ranked 74th out of 100 and 4th best college in Gujarat.

Admissions:

VIT Bhopal: The admission to the college is done on the basis of class 12th marks and in certain courses, the college conducts its CET (common entrance test) and if the students get the required marks they are called for counseling.
Nirma University: For admissions, the criteria for every course is different. But mostly the college accepts common exams like JEE Mains, CLAT, GATE, CAT and MAT.
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University: Admission in B.Tech and M. Tech is done through JEE mains and GATE. The students who want to do MBA need to give CAT/XAT/NMAT.

Faculty:

VIT Bhopal: There are Ph.D. teachers who give lectures on various subjects. There are guest lecturers that are called to provide in-depth knowledge to the students.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University: There are a total of 30- 40 faculty members in every course. There are guest lecturers that are called to provide in-depth knowledge to the students.

VIT Bhopal: In the academic year 2019, the highest placement that was offered to the student was Rs 41.6 lakhs and the average salary that was offered was Rs 7.2 lakhs.
Nirma University: The highest CTC that was offered was Rs 16.6 LPA and the average CTC that was recorded was 8.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies that visited the college were: - Infosys, Tata Motors, Amul, Amazon, Bajaj Alliance, Larsen and Toubro, Daiken, and Bajaj Auto.

Yes, VIT Bhopal is better than IIT Indore. It offers better academics. The student crowd of VIT Bhopal is great. The course curriculum is designed according to the industry requirements. VIT focuses on offering industry-relevant skills and knowledge.

VIT Vellore placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 1.2 Crore per annum. The average CTC for this year was INR 8.19 LPA. A total of 863 companies took part in the placement drive.

VIT Bhopal is a better option among these. It is a new campus but it offers similar opportunities as VIT Vellore. Placements are the same for both VIT campuses. Bhopal campus has good facilities. Departments such as CSE, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, etc. have well-equipped laboratories.

VIT Bhopal placements 2022 concluded with the highest CTC of INR 45.03 LPA. Recruiters such as Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Microsft, etc. frequently visit the campus drive.
